About Us

We are a small show kennel in central Scotland, breeding quality boxers for show and family pets, all our boxers are heart tested in line with the Boxer Breed Council.

My Love for boxers began when I was very young, my Aunt had two as pets and my cousins and myself had many an hour playing rough and tumble with them in the garden. Our own family had a border collie called Max. I grew up with my dog Max and my pony Ling, a 13.2 show pony, which I won many competitions with.

My teenage years were spent competing many different ponies for other people including my own 2 ponies a 14.2 grey anglo-arab gelding who had a super jump and 14.2 bay gelding who I jumped at the Horse of Year show held at Wembley Arena.

I went on to work at an eventing/ teaching training yard where I became a qualified riding instructor passing my exams right up to BHS II & Stage 3. But my first love was showjumping and I was lucky enough to move south to Cheshire and work with international showjumpers and travelling overseas with them too. I also part owned a very special German Warmblood gelding whom after we trained up sold onto a french yard where he went on to represent France in the Olympics a few years later.

Unfortunately due to an accident I had no option but to leave the horse world. I still very much wanted to have animals around me and compete, so after much thought I bought my first boxer in 1993, he was just a pet, with a lovely nature, he was Santanoaks/Burmadon breeding. so it didn't take me long before I took him to training classes and some exemption shows and so the boxer show bug was born !!! 6 months later follow my 2nd boy, first for showing, a half brother to the first and by CH. Sulez Whatever You Say. The same year saw my first Affix granted WESJANSON.  In 1994 saw the arrival of my first showgirl "Katie" Zoeash Annies Song at Wesjanson she was also sired by "Boss" CH Sulez Whatever You Say out of a Gladiator daughter. Katie was a super showgirl picking up many Best Puppy & BOB's at Open shows. She also won 2nd place in a Pet Plan Junior stakes class at Bath Championship Show behind an American Cocker with 53 in the class !!!!  In 1996 Katie went on to have her/my first litter by CH. Tyegarth Pacherenc at Seacrest which produced my ever loving escape artist (many time collected at police station !!) "Tiggie" Wesjanson That's Ma Boy. Tiggie sparkled in the showring as a puppy winning my first BPD at a champ show. Katie's second litter was to CH. IrCH Blueprint Beern Skittles at Walkon, but unfortunately due to birthing problem she lost all the pups.

In the spring of 1997 saw me get divorced, leaving me on my own for not long as at East Of England Champ show where I met Adrian and we were married by the December ! After having a year out I returned to the showring and it was lovely to catch up with old friends. I then decided to mate Katie for her last litter to Burmadon Supa Trooper (Dutch/Santonoaks bred dog) which produced our red girl "Pippa" Beeann Penelopie Pit Stop our firs to carry my new Affix BEEANN.

2000 was a new Millennium and I was on the lookout to buy in another show boy, Adrian and I travelled to Liverpool to view a puppy, which needless to say we both liked him and brought him home, "Charlie" Wildax Midnight Express at Beeann a half brother to CH. Wildax Father Ted. Charlie was a lovely easy dog to show and I had lots of fun showing him up and down the country.

In July 2001 saw Beeann moving to Central Scotland, where Adrian and myself now run boarding Kennels, which is a huge change from sunny Norfolk !! After settling in we expanded our show team in 2002 by buying in a boy from the Mair family at Glenauld who incidentally I grew up in the neighbouring village and competed ponies in the same circles. "Joe" Glenauld Special Game at Beeann was a fabulous dog at home and in the ring winning our first green card RCC at SKC August 2003 ! He was our first Stud dog who did us proud with his daughter "Samantha" Beeann Bewitched gaining her stud book number at Border Union 2006. To further strengthen our bitch lines we bought in "Kylie" Glenauld Game of Logic at Beeann, as she was very well bred we linebred her to CH. Roamaro Fun In The Sun with Walkon and the puppies arrived June 2005. We kept her beautiful daughter "Alison" Beeann Take That who again did us proud in the ring.

Also in 2005 saw a new arrival to the ranks of Beeann, "Jack" Norwatch  Sunhawk Magic Spel at Beeann was bought in from Helen & Eddie Banks and has been a real asset to our kennel. He was an exuberant puppy but still managed to be there or there abouts and being in the running to the MPOY Finals, Jack was also on the front cover of the BQ magazine. As a yearling Jack won several classes and in the Autumn of 2007 he spent 2 months at Winuwuk being expertly schooled by Julie Brown and then showed by her and then Tim Hutchings for the next 12 months winning many classes and being shortlisted for the CC several occasions including Crufts. He was also a great stud dog for us.

2008 we went everywhere, well almost !!  Jack Handled by Julie & Tim was amazing again winning many classes, we also welcomed a new girl to kennel "Sophie" Winuwuk Truly Madly Deeply" who was a fabulous mother and is behind our girls of today ! 2009 saw the arrival of our special boy "Blake" Winuwuk An Absolute Scandal at Beeann who was owned in partnership with his breeders the late Marion Ward-Davies, Julie Brown & Tim Hutchings, he was the most natural show dog, a joy to live with and loved the girls ! He won well for us being Graded Excellent at the European Winners Show held in Dublin and he also qualified for the Pet Plan Junior Stakes Grand Final.
